I wasn't sure about coffee and matcha together, but the creamy espresso ganache melts first and then the matcha kicks in—it's a smart little sequence. The small-batch texture is noticeably smooth, not grainy at all.
The layers are what got me—the matcha ganache is bright and grassy, then the espresso ganache comes in smooth and deep. I bit into one while working and actually paused to just savor it, which never happens. Small batch really shows in the texture, so creamy it melts almost instantly.
I ordered these for a little pick-me-up and the matcha ganache is so smooth it practically melts before you bite down. The espresso layer gives it just enough bitterness to balance the sweetness. Two bites and it was gone, which is honestly the only downside.
